Outlines 2017 Picks

Outlines Festival 2017 is this weekend, and this year it has expanded to 2 days. Below are my top picks for the festival.

Friday

The Seamonsters – Plug Room 2 – 6pm

One of the best upcoming Sheffield bands, The Seamonsters are the first act on at Outlines, with no clashes, so there’s no excuse to miss them really.

The Crookes – Leadmill – 8:45

Whenever the hardest working band in Sheffieldβ„’, The Crookes play a hometown show it is not one to miss. Get down early.

Slow Club – Leadmill – 10pm

Yet another Sheffield favourite, recently having a 3 night residency at Yellow Arch Studios, Slow Club are closing the Leadmill on Friday night.

Saturday

Nadia Rose – Plug – 6pm

Nadia Rose will play Outlines off the back of winning the MOBO award for best video for ‘Skwod’ and her recent debut EP ‘Highly Flammable’. Definitely one of the best rising artists out there and Outlines is a great chance to see her in such a small venue.

Trash – Plug Room 2 – 6:30

Trash will bring their indie pop goodness to Outlines on Saturday, playing in Plug room 2.

Jagwar Ma – Leadmill – 10pm

Having recently released their 2nd album ‘Every Now & Then’, Australian psych rockers Jagwar Ma’s set will not be one to miss.
