Kali Uchis ft. Tyler, The Creator & Bootsy CollinsAfter The Storm: Continuing a run of great singles from Kali, ‘After The Storm’ again showcases her amazing voice, and her chemistry with Tyler, who has a really smooth verse on this track, makes this one of the best tracks of the year so far. 90%

Django DjangoIn Your Beat: Following on from the great ‘Tic Tac Toe’, the scottish art-pop band come through with another electro-indie banger full of great vocal harmonies and a catchy beat. 87%

Ezra FurmanSuck The Blood from My Wound: An aggressive, but melodic track from Ezra, ‘Suck The Blood…’ makes the upcoming album ‘Transangelic Exodus’ a very welcome prospect. 80%

Troye SivanMy My My!: The first track from New Zealand pop artist Troye Sivan since his breakthrough debut album in 2015 is an extremely catchy, well produced dance-pop track that will probably push him even higher up the charts. 70%

Jack WhiteConnected By Love: A weird track from Jack, a pulsing ballad sounding like a cross between Queen and Muse. It’s an interesting direction but I think it works. 80%

Franz FerdinandFeel The Love Go: The second single to be taken from Franz Ferdinand’s upcoming album isn’t as instant as the title track ‘Always Ascending’, but it’s still a decent track. 70%

Jorja Smith & StormzyLet Me Down: Unfortunately quite a forgettable ballad from Jorja. Both her and Stormzy’s voice sound great on the track but for me nothing stood out or grabbed me. 60%

Sunflower Bean Crisis Fest: A fun, upbeat track from Sunflower Bean with a bit of a Haim vibe about it. As with their last single ‘I Was a Fool’, Julia Cumming’s vocals really shine through on this track. 85%
